KUALA LUMPUR (Aug 17): ACE Market-listed JS Solar Bhd (KL) has secured an RM18.05 million contract for the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) of a solar and battery energy storage system (BESS) project at AEON Mall Seremban 2.
In a bourse filing on Monday, the solar energy solutions provider said the contract was awarded to its wholly-owned JS Solar Sdn Bhd (JSSB) by GSPARX Sdn Bhd.
The project comprises a 4,652.5kWp building-integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) and rooftop solar system, as well as a 3,856kWh BESS.
GSPARX is an indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Tenaga Nasional Bhd (KL:TENAGA) through TNB Retail Sdn Bhd.
The contract will run for six months, from Aug 19, 2026 to Feb 19, 2027.
Shares of JS Solar fell half a sen or 2.6% to end at 18.5 sen on Monday, giving the company a market capitalisation of RM60.1 million.
